The Valley Agricultural Society formed in 1895 was originally established as an agricultural fair. The Agricultural Society has changed names over the past century to support the community and the events as the society has grown. The Morris Fair was combined with a professional rodeo, the Manitoba Stampede, in 1964 to become an annual event and is now the only professional rodeo in Manitoba. In 2017 the Valley Ag Society added a new event, Rumble in the Valley, which has quickly grown to be Manitoba’s largest truck and tractor pull.
